Christmas Fireside 2014

Thursday evening, we met with our families for a Christmas fireside. President Darron Billeter of the Provo Utah East Stake presidency spoke to us about being the light of the world. He illustrated his talk with slides and a special activity where we followed the light. Brother and Sister Johns also spoke. There was lots of beautiful music: Aimee Campbell played the piano, Sophie and Lauren Blair played a string duet, and Cami Buckley and her sister sang a duet. After the fireside, everyone gathered in the cultural hall for hot cider, hot chocolate, and cookies. It was a lovely evening. Thanks to everyone who made it so nice.

Pinewood Derby 2014

Thursday evening, 4 November, SNAP groups met together at the Locust Lane Chapel for our annual Pinewood Derby. Frank and his son Devin brought their track and equipment to help us with the races. Everyone had prepared their cars at a previous SNAP activity and all were ready to race. Each participant was able to run four times, once in each track. After racing, there were stickers available to decorate the cars. When the derby was finished we enjoyed yummy root-beer floats. Thanks to everyone who made this fun activity possible.
