Valentine Dinner 2016

SNAP friends gathered at the Locust Lane building on the evening of 18 February for an annual Valentine Dinner of pulled pork, mashed potatoes, salad, and rolls, generously provided by Texas Roadhouse. Marci Edgington and her BYU ballroom dancers provided the entertainment again this year and everyone enjoyed a great evening.

Book of Mormon Stories

This week SNAP friends recreated four Book of Mormon stories: Alma and the sons of Mosiah, Samuel the Lamanite, Nephi, and the Zoramites and the Rameumptom. It was a rollicking fun review of some of the fun stories from LDS scripture.

We are so sad that Brother and Sister Norris are being released

Sister Paxman directed the story of Nephi

Sister Woodard directed Alma and the Sons of Mosiah

Brother and Sister Winegar directed the Story of the Rameumptom

Brother Burns masterminded the Story of Samuel the Lamanite

Trying to corrupt the members of the church

The director trying to get the angel to surrender the stage

Theater in the round (or maybe half round)

Samantha the Lamanite calls the Nephites to repentance from the wall

 Those don't look like arrows

Nephi is ready for his debut

 Laban was ticked!

 Headed to the Promised Land

 Say Rameumptom with me

 Prideful prayer

Gold and jewels up to bat, costly apparel on deck

Proud (not prideful) of all the players

 The Rameumptom dance

 The audience was impressed

Brother Burns finished the evening with an emotional testimony of the Book of Mormon

As always, it was a great evening. Thanks to all who came and to those who made it happen.
