Thursday evening, 15 January, all our SNAP friends met at the Locust Lane building for a night of games and goodies. There was a surprise waiting for us in our opening gathering: Brother Welsh was there to thank Brother and Sister Johns for all their love and commitment in building our great SNAP program because they have been released to serve a full-time service mission in Salt Lake City. They will be working to build SNAP programs all over Utah. Brother Welsh introduced Brother Mark Burns who, with his wife, will be the new directors of our SNAP program. We heard a few remarks from each of them before we headed into the cultural hall to play games. It was a great evening. We want the Johns to know how much we love them and look forward to seeing them at some of our activities. We also want the Burns to know that we are excited to have them as part of our SNAP family.
