We celebrated Valentine's Day with our SNAP friends on the evening of February 12. We met for our opening gathering in the chapel at the Locust Lane building where the Johns were presented with some remembrances of their SNAP friends who love them. We moved into the cultural hall where Chad Finch from Texas Roadhouse provided a delicious meal of pulled pork, mashed potatoes, salad, and rolls. Delicious! When the meal was finished Marci Edgington and the One O'Clock Ballroom Dancers from BYU presented a wonderful ballroom dance program for us. We were pleased to have Elders and Sisters Sessions and Wilson with us to share in a really fun event.
The adult leaders, including Sisters Johns and Codner, arrived early to set up
All set and ready
The huge cards we made last week were presented to the Johns
It was one way to say thank you
Sister Johns received some flowers too
Dinner is served
Delicious rolls
Tender pulled pork
And yummy Texas Roadhouse mashed potatoes
Sister Wride, Brother Bohn, and Brother Codner served
The line stretched out the door, but moved fast
Eat up, men
A lone man at this table
And at this table, too
And here as well
Everybody was in a happy mood
With such good food and friends, why wouldn't we be happy?
It's those men again
What a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day
Former leaders and new leaders: the Johns and Burns
Youth leaders and adult leaders sharing a meal
Sister Johns has a birthday this week
These good friends always have fun
We got to visit with the missionaries
Sister Edgington announces the ballroom dance program
This was a real treat
Lots of graceful movement
And beautiful lines
This group is impressive
They deserve the applause
Fun costumes
The Sessions, Sister Johns, and the Wilsons
Good night Brother Johns
Thanks to Sister and Brother Bohn for doing the dishes!
