Thursday evening, 9 April, we met with our SNAP friends for a delightful night of games. The most popular games were Uno, Fish, Old Maid, and, of course, some even played Don't Eat Pete. We had some Rice-Krispy treats to sweeten the deal.
Cami got us started with Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree
It's the yellow group's turn to say their theme
Plenty of games to choose from
 Okay, let's get started
Sister Geurts passed out the card holders
There, you are good to go
They are playing Old Maid at this table
 These guys chose UNO
Let's have a look at your cards
At this table, they played Fish
 Play this one
 I'll take that, thank you
 Down to three cards each
 Something made Bronte giggle
With that many cards you probably won't win
 Good fun
 Smiles all around
If you can't lay one down, you have to draw
An entertaining way to use the dominoes
When you get 4 of a kind, you've got a set
 UNO
YES! and you thought I didn't have a chance
 The peanut gallery
 Good times
 Fun at every table
These lovely ladies were checking to see if the refreshments were OK
 Rice-Krispy treats and sugar-free cookies
Playing and eating is no problem
 In fact it is AWESOME
Some tables showed more restraint than others
 Finishing up the game
 Don't Eat Pete!
But you can eat everything but Pete
It was nice to have Santiago's grandson with us
It is always a happy time with friends
Goodbye until next time
We all had a great time, but we missed the Burns and hope they had a great spring break.
