Christmas Fun!

This week on 10 December at SNAP we had a Christmas activity. There were tables where we made ornaments from pine cones, tables where we decorated (and ate) cookies, and two tables where we made Christmas cards.

 Sister Woodard got us started

There were so many things we could make

Brother Geurts was the pine-cone meister

Lots of glue and good stuff

 Sister Santiago lends a hand

 Hot glue works wonders

Pride in a job well done

 Red and green frosting

Spread it on as thick as you please

 Finished with sprinkles

 Stars, pine trees, and snowmen

 Frost now, eat later (maybe)

 Does that look okay?

Maybe we didn't wait until later

The best part about cookies is eating them

They disappear one bite at a time

 Brother Leishman drew our cards

 And we colored them

 Great concentration

 Pass me that crayon, please

Glue sticks to add a message inside the card

That's a big tub of crayons!

Somebody didn't want her picture taken

Making colorful use of Brother Leishman's designs

I can't have sugar, so I ate my own treat

Yummy!

Thanks to everyone who came and to those who worked hard to have everything ready for us. We had a good time.
